I grew up in Chula Vista. Went to Chula Vista High School, graduated in1968. One of four children (2nd oldest of 3 boys and 1 girl). My Mom and Dad just celebrated51 years of marriage. I married in 1976 at age 26 to wife Paulette. We have four wonderful children (3 boys/1 girls).
On to Southwestern College (A.A.), then to S.D.S.U. Majored in music, minored in drama (and almost English). Got my teaching credential in 1974-started working at Helix. Nineteen years as Choral Director 1974-1993. Then transitioned into counseling and I have been there since. =)
My goal is to be the BEST Dad (and later grandad) ever. I am very involved at church and have been a leader and organizer of a number of men's groups in my church. I also want to be a positive role model to others. Go has blessed me and my family abundantly.
I sing, play guitar, direct a contempoary choir at St. Therese Catholic Church in Del Cerro (San Diego). I have been involved in church music since I was in the 3rd grade and sung soprano with my mother on the Adult Church Chior. I have also sung professionally for many weddings and funerals, cut a solo album of orginal christian music, did a Christmas album with Vocal Arts Quartet, and sang a number of gigs with the Jazz connection. I still am a cantor at church and lead music at two masses every Sunday.
