I grew up in Pella a Dutch community in Iowa, attended college in Iowa, then made my way to New Mexico. I taught SED, LH, and gifted students for six years. Then I moved to Southern Spain with the Dept. of Defuse to teach gifted HS students for four years I came to CA in 90 for 2 yrs., lived in Bermuda on a boat for 3 years where I worked for the Univ. of Maryland, and later became a conflict Resolution/Peer Mediation coordinator last year I returned to San Diego. I am married to a Naval Officer in Law enforcement/ Criminal justice, and have two cats.
I like to take & develop black and white photographs, scuba dive, travel, and work on remodeling and decorating my house. I want to live overseas again, in a Spanish speaking country and become fluent.
I used to be a disc jockey on the weekends... I have worked in two animal rescue organizations especially helping feral cats. My husband & I collect and restore old cars.(1923 T-bucket Roadster, 52 chevy , 54 &41 Lincoln.)
