I am a speech/language specialist at Helix. I work with students individually or in small groups to improve communication skills. I work as part of the special education department.

    Background

    I grew up in the midwest. I worked my way through college by working in book stores and later as a teaching assistant in the special education department.

    Interests/Activities/Plan

    I am interested in providing communication systems/ skills for all individuals (verbal and non verbal). Deaf communications/ education especially interests me. Iım working on improving my sign language skills.

    Other Interesting Things

    I love reading for pleasure. Iım very involved with my family and the activities of my two sons. My family has many pets and I love animals.
