Christine Moretti
I have been the English department Chair for seven years and have been a Helix English teacher for 19 years. I love teaching in an active language arts environment. I am proud to have served as a resource teacher for our district.
Academic History
B.A. English and speech communication, San Diego State University.
Background
I am a Helix High graduate who began teaching drama at Bell Middle School. I came to Helix to be the speech coach and to teach English. As a 7-year speech coach, Helix's team was one of the best in San Diego.
Interests/Activities/Plans
My daughters and husband are the focus of my life. My daughters are active in sports and dance and I am a "Cheerleader" at all their events. I love reading and attending theater. My family's favorite outing is houseboating on Lake Powell with our Colorado relatives.
Other Interesting Things
My family owns an ice cream store; we make ice cream and Italian ice on the premises. I work the counter as a server and stockier and love the dessert and the people in our community.
