Project Description: Learning the basics of guitar: chords, single notes, and tablature, transitioning chords. Playing songs with chords and also with single notes. Performing two individual songs with single notes: the by the band Face to Face, and "Jesus, Joy of Man's Desiring" by Bach, and an individual song with chord: Green Day's "Time of Your Life", along with two group songs: "Hotel California" by the Eagles and "A Little Help From My Friends" by the Beatles, with Steven Lesinski on guitar and Curtis Dixon on saxophone. We presented in front of any Helix peers who wanted to come after school in Room 400.
Connection to Paper: Playing the guitar is a positive habit which deals mostly with the spiritual area of self, and having a commitment to playing the guitar and having the right attitude when playing can bring improvement to self and a sense of happiness.
