The Contention for Prayer in School by William A. Dalrymple

The following text is directly from the overview of the senior portfolio in original words of the author.

Project Description: The project I choose to do for my Senior Project was to design and present a rally about prayer and prayer in school. The rally was presented at Le Mesa First Assembly of God in front of 115 students. My consultant for this project was he Youth Director there, my. Jeremy Nicks. The rally provided free food fore everyone in attendance, music, and a special speaker all activities projected for an age group of twelve to eighteen.

Connection to Paper: The relationship between my paper and my project was that both dealt with prayer. My paper went into detail about student's rights involving prayer and my rally was about how prayer can affect student's lives. My paper spoke a little about spoken invocations at high school football games and graduation ceremonies and my project included pictures from the event "See You At The Pole", and the speaker told how that invocation changed one girl’s life. My project was not "See You t The Pole" but was about praying at school in general.
