Back to School Night - Wednesday September 4th, 2002

Back to School Night is Helix High's opportunity for teachers to meet with their students' families. I think that this night offers to build a better connection between the community and our classes. I know that sometimes it is difficult to attend this evening and therefore I hope that this will help to answer some initial questions students and their families my have. Photo 1-2 is a full year course that satisfies the fine arts requirement for Helix's graduation requirement. It is a first year course with high expectations and follows the California State Standards.

Art 1-2 is a full year course that satisfies the fine arts requirement for Helix's graduation requirement. It is a first year course with high expectations and follows the California State Standards.

Art 3-4 is a second year course that extends the art education program. It is based off the principles of art and will help our students work to build their portfolio in hopes they will like the challenge of A.P. Art Portfolio or need it for entrance into an art program in college. This course follows the California State Standards.
