I was born in Colorado, lived in Salt Lake City Utah through 4th grade, then moved to Hermosa beach, CA. As a junior in high school I went to New Zealand for a year as an exchange student. During college I spent two summers working on dude ranches. I came to San Diego for graduation school and loved it here. I have done many different kinds of work including comp. programming, owning and operating a coin - op, car wash and selling my paintings.
I enjoy being part of the ESL team of teachers. I also enjoy being the human relations club advisor. I would like to find more ways to involve both magic and art in my math classes. I have taught math, science, computers, art, and English in a variety of school settings.
I am married and have 3 kids; 19, 7, and 6. My husband is with R.O.P in the Grossmont District. My daughter Julie is in the 2nd grade, and Jake is in the 1st grade. I enjoy art, gardening, magic and reading. I also enjoy travel and doing fun things with my family.
