Downloading the image

  1. Once you have the image you want, click and hold in the middle of the image.
  2. A window will pop up giving you several options. Scroll down and choose ÒDownload image to diskÓ. On campus, the ÔdiskÕ is your documents folder.
  3. Locate the folder where you need to save your images. Double check the file name of the graphic and make sure it has an extension. (ex. graphics.gif)
  4. Click SAVE. VIOLA!! YOU HAVE JUST downloaded a file that can be used later in a Word document or a Power Point.

Image Hints:

¥ Image Size: Try to find an image that is pretty close to the size you need. If it is too small, it will become pixilated (dotted and unclear) when you try to scale it larger.

¥ Copyright: Always make sure you copy/write down the name of the site where you downloaded the image. You will need to reference the site later.
