Reflector Fill Rim Lighted Outdoor Portrait

MyProProject Suggestions

1. The picture needs to be taken on a sunny day.

2. Camera should be mounted vertically on a tripod.

3. White reflector mounted on a second tripod should be reflecting light back on model.

4. Use a piece of cardboard as a GOBO to block sun light from shining directly on the camera lens.

5. Have a clear, dark, and uncluttered background.

6. Get close to the model, so you have a good head size.

7. Focus carefully (on eyelashes or the sparkle in the eyes).

8. Film: Artista ISO-125 take two pictures, one at 1/125SS at f/8 and one at 1/125SS at f/5.6. For dark skin use: f/5.6 and f4.

9. Blond long haired model shows effect best.

10. A 85mm lens with a lens shade would be a good choice.
