Identification: (These will be taken from your study guides)

These are due every week. Note: These must be handwritten not typed. (0-10 points per chapter: depending on thoroughness and accuracy).

Chapter Notes:

For all chapters you will be required to takes notes on sections I do not cover in class. I do not mind the format that you use: Cornell, mind maps, Stanford etc. (Minimum length; 3 pages per chapter) (0-20 points possible, depending on thoroughness and accuracy)

Class Binder:

(Note: This is mandatory) I will not accept work not in a binder and organized by chapter. Your binder must be reserved for use of this class only. Each individual chapter must be clearly labeled. In other words put dividers into your binder by chapter. Into this binder you must put the following, in this order . . .

1. Identification
2. Chapter notes you have taken on your own from the book
3. Chapter notes from my lectures
4. Chapter reading material if given

Other Suggestions:

Read the material before you come to class.

Tests:

For each chapter there will be at least three essays you must prepare for. If you have a computer with internet access here are some sites that you will find helpful. Most of these sites have practice exams.
